Robin Pecknold talks music over the past 15 years for Pitchfork's P4K @ 15 feature ›
I was in plays in grade school— I played FDR in Annie when I was eight. They had to put all of this talcum powder in my hair every night to like make it look white, and when I would take a bath, this gigantic flume of talcum powder would come up. It was hard work because we had to do about 40 shows, and I remember having nightmares like, “We’ve extended the show! Another 40 shows!” The nightmares I have now are like, “The tour has been extended two more months!”
Oh, you’re so cute, Robin.
